Welcome to ECS

The Engineering Computing Services Department (ECS) provides high-end computing services and support for faculty and staff of the College of Engineering at Georgia Tech. It also provides computer-aided engineering and computer-aided design (CAE/CAD) facilities for those whose coursework or research would benefit from the use of advanced CAE/CAD, finite element analysis, and computational software.

ECS manages one electronic classroom in the A. French Building that contains 26 Dell workstations. Faculty, Staff, or Students may log onto the lab workstations using their Prisim login.

The ECS staff supports the software installed on the servers and lab machines only. In addition to providing computing resources, ECS administers several site licenses used in the College of Engineering and in other units of Georgia Tech.

All software is available for installation on Georgia Tech-owned computers.
