INSTRUCTIONS and INSTALLATION

It is highly recommended that you download and install the Abaqus documentation before you install the Abaqus software. ( you will be asked for the location of the documentation when you install the Abaqus software - example = ///c:/abaqus/documentation/docs/v6.8/index.html)

Files to download:

- Abaqus_v6.9_all_os_documentation.iso
AND

- Abaqus_v69_all_os_install-part1.iso
- Abaqus_v69_all_os_install-part2.iso

Combine the 2 software files at the Windows command prompt::
copy /b Abaqus_v69_all_os_instal-part1.iso + Abaqus_v69_all_os_install-part2.iso Abaqus_v69_all_os_install.iso (combined file)

The ABAQUS license administered by ECS is done so through a network licensing scheme. The following is a list of license files, ports and/or hosts for ABAQUS.  During the installation you will be prompted for a license server location. 

Server Location:(host/ipaddress)  2002@abaquslic.ecs.gatech.edu

When installing ABAQUS, you must select 'Product' install.  Do NOT select the 'License' option.
