NX - Downloading Instructions:

You will need to downloading the following files:

nx_v5m1_winnt-a.iso and nx_v5m1_winnt-b.iso

(You will also need to download the nx_v51_maint.iso file. This is a maintenance update to the software to be applied after installation.)

These files will need to be combined into one after they have been downloaded. To do this, open up the Windows command prompt and type in the following:

copy /b nx_v5m1_winnt-a.iso + nx_v5m1_winnt-b.iso nx_v5m1_winnt.iso(new combined file)

The NX 5m1 licenses administered by ECS are done so through a network licensing scheme.

The following is a list of license files, ports and/or hosts for NX v5m1

During the installation you will be prompted for a license server location

Server Location: ugslic2.ecs.gatech.edu

Port: 27100

Note: During the install, you will have to enter this as 27100@ugslic2.ecs.gatech.edu in the Server Location field.

When installing NX5m1, you can select as many of the options as you like, except the license server option.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE INSTALL THE LICENSE SERVER OPTION.
